Tuina (Chinese Massage)
What is it?
Tuina is a hands-on therapeutic massage technique from Traditional Chinese Medicine, using kneading, pressing and stretching along the body’s meridians. It works to relieve muscular tension and support the smooth flow of Qi, and is often combined with acupuncture.
Best suited for
Tuina is well suited to muscular tension, general stress relief, and as a complementary technique alongside acupuncture treatment.
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine should complement, not replace, advice from your GP or specialist. Suitability is assessed individually during consultation.
