Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) originated in China and dates back an estimated 2,500 years ago. TCM is considered to be safe and powerful natural healthcare system. Acupuncture was introduced to Australia as early as in the 1880s, and is a form of complementary and alternative medicine in Australia (Allied Health). TCM is safe and drug-free alternative or a complementary health care system to Western medical treatments. Chinese medical theory is centered around illness which causes disharmony or imbalance within the body. TCM takes a holistic approach to understanding the bodies illness and reads into physical, emotional and psychological components of what is going on for you. Chinese medical practitioners use various techniques like acupuncture needles, herbal formulas, gua sha, cupping, and electrostimulation in treatments which aims to guide the body back into balance, without the use invasive procedures or pharmaceutical products
Shiatsu
Originating in Japan Shiatsu was invented by Tokujiro Namikoshi during the 1920s and is a non invasive therapy. This therapy uses a combination of techniques kneading, pressing, tapping, stretching and acupressure along with Traditional Chinese Medicine . The aim is to reduce tension and re-energise the body using the Chinese Medicine theories and meridians. Shiatsu works with the body’s energy flow, known as Ki or Qi to assist in the bodies own ability to heal itself.
Reiki
Reiki is an energy therapy that promotes well-being and health, by boosting and balancing the natural flow of energy within the body and chakras. It is effective at treating all forms of stress and disease. Whether they are a result of physical injury, emotional trauma, mental anxiety or spiritual discontent, giving you a sense of inner-peace, harmony, clarity and vitality throughout your entire being. This form of energy therapy is 7 level Aslor Reiki system.

Mobile home/office visits
All mobile visits have a flat fee of $30-$65 add above the treatment prices.
*Important, please note HICAPS & Health Rebates are not available with mobile home/office visits with Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) due to health funds declining rebates on mobile treatments. You must have Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) treatments from the Clinic.
*On every invoice I have to state where you had the treatment done Clinic or Mobile
HEALTH FUND REBATES
Rebates for acupuncture treatments can be claimed from most health funds. Finer Point Acupuncture clinic is equipped with a HICAPS terminal allowing most health funds to be claimed straight away. The rebated amount depends on your level of coverage and your health fund. Please contact your health fund provider for more information.
