Acupuncture
What is it?
Acupuncture is a core technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine, involving the insertion of fine, sterile, single-use needles into specific points on the body. The aim is to help regulate the flow of Qi (energy) and support the body’s own capacity to restore balance. Treatments are provided by an AHPRA-registered Chinese Medicine practitioner under strict single-use, sterile-needle infection control guidelines — insertion is generally much finer and less invasive than a standard injection.
